Alfa Recipies

Nihari, a beloved dish steeped in tradition, is expertly prepared to serve large gatherings. It is lovingly simmered throughout the night in a sizeable pot that symbolizes nocturnal cooking. Over the course of 6-8 hours, the meat tenderly disintegrates as it gently cooks over a low flame. A delicious amalgamation of spices, Nihari has rich spices and herbs like cardamom, cinnamon, chillies, bay leaves, nutmeg mixed with yogurt and gulab jal. Saffron adds the exotic and aromatic flavour to the dish. This is the perfect meat dish, adorned with the aroma of rose water and tons of spices. A popular dish in Pakistan and South Asia , Nihari is also considered to be the national dish of Pakistan. Alfa Nihari recipe that you can cook at home with easy steps on festive occasions and dinner parties. Served traditionally with Naan, paratha or rice adorned with Fresh Corainder , Sliced ginger , green chilies and lime.

Nihari COOKING METHOD

Sindhi Biryani Originating from the province of Sindh -Pakistan, a Sindhi Biryani is an aromatic Biryani which differs in many ways from other Biryanis. It often (but not always!) lays its hand light on the heat and emphasises on the crisp flavours of mint, lemon and coriander and has a pronounced tang thanks to the dried plums. What also sets a Sindhi Biryani apart from others is that it uses potatoes and dried plums in the masala – other kinds of Biryani don’t necessarily require either of these. The most traditional of Sindhi Biryani recipes also use dried fruits and nuts in the garnish.
